Xylem-Code Phloem Distinct tangential (annual?) layers of parenchyma and sieve tubes. Sieve tubes collapsed in older rings. With single isolated, very thick-walled sclerenchyma cells, Large ray dilatations. Large crystal druses in ray dilatations and small druses in tangential parenchyma cells.
