Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels solitary,vessels thick-walled, simple perforations, scalariform intervessel pits, vessel diameter 30-60µm, fibers thick-walled, fiber groups in tangential rows, parenchyma vasicentric and confluent, ray width 2-5 cells, homocellular, prostrate cells, ray cells unlignified, crystals absent.

With sieve tube groups, and collapsed sieve tube groups with ray dilatations, radial rows of sclerenchyma groups, crystals absent.
