Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels irregular radial multipels, simple perforations, vessel diameter 40 – 60µm, with scalariform intervessel pits, fibers tick-walled, parenchyma vasicentric and terminal, ray width 3-6 cells, with sheet cells, homocellular with square cells, crystals absent.
