Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels in groups and in diagonal patterns, simple perforations, vessel diameter 40-60µm, with round intervessel pits, vestured pits, thick-walled fibers, parenchyma vasicentric, ray 2-8 cells in width, heterocellular with 3 to 5 upright cells, prismatic crystals.

With collapsed sieve cells, ray dilatations, radial groups of sclereids with many prismatic crystals.
