Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels in small groups, simple perforations, vessel diameter 40 – 50µm, round intervessel pits, fibers thick-walled, parenchyma vasicentric and marginal, rays with 2-3 cells in width, heterocellular with many square and upright cell, with prismatic crystals in rays.

With ray dilatations, radial oriented groups of sclerenchyma cells, many prismatic crystals.
