Xylem

Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, thick-walled vessels solitary and in diagonal groups, simple perforations, vessel diameter 50-90µm, round and scalariform intervessel-pits, thick-walled fibers in tangential bands, parenchyma apotracheal and paratracheal in tangential bands, ray width 5->10 with sheet cells, heterocellular with many square and upright cells. With many prismatic crystals.
