Distinct rings, diffuseporous, vessels solitary and thick-walled, simple perforation, mostly with scalariform intervessel pits, vessel diameter 15-30 µm, fibers absent, parenchyma pervasive, rays absent. Vascular bundle form remaining, rays with crystal druses.
