Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels solitary, thick-walled, simple perforation, alternating intervessel pits, vessel diameter 15-30 µm, fibers thick-walled in groups, parenchyma paratracheal and marginal, rays absent. Vascular bundle form remaining, rays with prismatic crystal in axial chambers.

Uniform cortex, with a few prismatic crystals, multilayered periderm with regular arranged cells.
