Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels mostly in groups, simple perforation, vessel diameter 50-100µm, with helical thickenings, fibers with large pits, fibers thick-walled, parenchyma apotracheal, rays uni seriate and 3-4seriate, heterocellular with many prostrate and a few upright cells.
