Xylem

Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels in short radial groups and solitary, simple perforation, earlywood vessel diameter 40-50µm, with thin helical thickenings, fibers with large pits, fibers thin-to thick-walled, parenchyma apotracheal, rays uniseriate and 4-5 seriate, heterocellular with many prostrate and a few upright cells.
