Distinct rings, semi-ring-to ring-porous, vessels solitary, simple perforation, vessel diameter 40-80µm, with thin helical thickenings, fibers with large pits, fibers thin- to thick-walled, parenchyma apotracheal, rays 1-4 seriate, locally with sheet cells, heterocellular with prostrate and some rows of upright cells.
