Xylem

Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels 50 -80 µm in diameter, vessels in short radial multiples, arranged in intra anual tangential rows, simple perforations, intervessel pits scalariform, with thin-walled tylosis, fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma paratracheal and marginal, ray width 2-6 cells with sheet cells, homocellular with upright cells.

With groups of sieve-tubes, solitary scereids, with many crystal druses in rays and axial parenchyma cells. .
