Distinct ring boundaries in the xylem, diffuse to semi-ring porous, vessels solitary, paratracheal parenchyma, sometimes with thin walled marginal parenchyma, large unlignified rays few rays width 1 -3 cells, crystals absent, included phloem appears in the third ring.
