Only one ring, vessels predominatly solitary, vessel diameter 150-250µm, simple perforation, intervessel pits opposite, round, fibers with large and small pits, septate fibers, parenchyma paratracheal, ray width >10 seriate, unlignified, all ray cells upright, phloem groups in the pith (bi-collateral vascular bundle).
