Distinct rings, vessels solitary, vessel diameter 60-90µm, simple perforation, intervessel pits round, opposite, fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma paratracheal and pervasive, ray width >10 seriate, unlignified, all ray cells upright, successive cambia, vascular bundles in tangential rows, phloem groups in the pith (collateral vascular bundles).
