Distinct rings, diffuse porous, 80-200 µm in diameter, vessels solitary and in short radial multiples, simple perforations, fibers thin-to thick-walled with large pits, parenchyma apotracheal diffuse, rays 2-4cells in width, homocellular with prostrate cells.

Phloem

Tangential layers of small sieve tubes, tangential layers collapsed sieve-tubes, sclereids (fibers) in tangential layers, groups of sclereids in the cortex, many crystal druses
