Distinct growth zones, diffuse porous, 30-50 µm in diameter, vessels in long radial multipels, simple perforations, vessels thick-walled, fibers thick-walled with small pits, parenchyma paratracheal, rays uniseriate, homocellular with upright cells, with prismatic crystals in ray cells.
