Xylem

Indistinct rings, vessels solitary and in short radial multiples, simple perforations, round intervessel pits, intervessel pits alternate, vessel diameter 50-130 µm, parenchyma scanty paratracheal and apotracheal in aggregates, ray width 3-6 cells, heterogeneous with a few prostrate and many marginal square and upright cells.
