Indistinct rings, vessels in short radial multiples, simple perforations, round intervessel pits, intervessel pits alternate, vessel diameter 50-90 µm, parenchyma apotrachealin distinct tangential bands alternating with fiber bands and scanty paratracheal, ray width 2-3 and large cells, mainly homocellular with many square and upright cells, with prismatic crystal in rays.
