Distinct rings, diffuse to semi-ring porous, vessels solitary vessel diameter 20-40µm vessel frequency 200-300 mm2, simple perforations, vessels with gum deposits, fibers thick-walled, with large pits, parenchyma apotracheal and scanty paratracheal, ray width 2-3 cells, rays heterocellular with 2 -4 square or upright marginal cells, without crystals.
