Distinct annual rings, semi-ring porous, vessels in radial radial multiples and groups, , vessel diameter 30 – 50 mm vessel frequency 200-300 mm2, simple perforations, with gum deposits, with small pits, apotracheal parenchyma and paratracheal vasicentric, ray width 2-3 cells, rays homocellular with upright cells, with a few crystal druses.

With small groups of sieve tubes in tangential layers, collapsed sieve tubes, with many crystal druses.
