Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels solitary, vessels small (20-30 microns) paratracheal parenchyma, parenchyma thin walled between fibers, ray width 4-10 cells, thick walled, intra-annual fibre bands rayless in cross section, rayless, storied vessels, with crystal druses in parenchyma cells.
