Distinct rings, diffuse porous, earlywood vessels solitary and in short radial multipels, simple perforations, earlywood vessel diameter 50-80µm, with helical thickenings, with dark staining substances, fibers with small pits, with tension wood, axial parenchyma not to recognize, rays 2-4 (4) seriate, homocellular with prostrate cells, prismatic crystals in axial chambers.

Phloem

Distinct tangential layers of parenchyma and sieve tubes and sclerenchyma. Sieve tubes collapsed in older rings. Many prismatic crystals.
