Distinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels solitary, scalariform perforations with >10bars, intervessel pits round, large ray-vessel pits, fibers thin to thick-walled, with distinctly bordered, round pits, parenchyma apotracheal, ray width 3-5 cells, heterocellular with 1-2 upright cells. With a few crystal druses.
