Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels solitary and in short radial multiples, perforations simple and rarely scalariform with 5-8 bars, intervessel pits round, vessel diameter 20-50 µm, vessel frequency 100 - 200 mm2, fibers with large pits, fibers thin-to thick-walled, parenchyma not to recognize, rays 1-3 seriate, heterocellular with prostrate and a few with upright cells.,
