Distinct rings, ring boundary very small, diffuse-porous, vessels in groups, scalariform perforations with 10-20 bars, intervessel pits scalariform and round, vessel diameter 15-30 µm, vessel frequency 400 - 500 mm2, vessel-ray-pits with horizontal apertures, fibers with large pits, fibers thin- walled, parenchyma apotracheal and paratracheal, rays uniseriate, homocellular with prostrate cells.
