Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels solitary and in groups, scalariform perforations with 10-15 bars, intervessel pits rarely scalariform and mostly round, vessel diameter 15-25 µm, vessel frequency 400 - 800 mm2, fibers with large pits, fibers thin-walled parenchyma paratracheal, rays uniseriate and 2-4 seriate, homocellular with upright cells and heterocellular with prostrate and upright cells.
