Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels solitary and in groups, scalariform perforations with 10-15 bars, intervessel pits rarely scalariform and mostly round, vessel diameter 20-30 µm, vessel frequency 300 - 500 mm2, fibers with large pits, fibers thin-to thick-walled parenchyma rare, apotracheal and paratracheal, rays uniseriate and 3-4 seriate, homocellular with upright cells and heterocellular with prostrate and upright cells.
