Xylem

Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels solitary and in groups, scalariform perforations with 10-15 bars, intervessel pits rarely scalariform and mostly round, vessel diameter 25-40 µm, vessel frequency 400 - 800 mm2, fibers with large pits, fibers thin-walled, parenchyma not to recognize, rays uniseriate, homocellular with upright cells and 3-5 seriate homocellular with with prostrate and upright cells.
