Xylem

Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels solitary, scalariform perforations with 10-15 bars, intervessel pits rarely scalariform and mostly round, vessel diameter 15-25 µm, vessel frequency 200 - 300 mm2, fibers with large pits, fibers thin-walled, parenchyma not to recognize, rays uniseriate, homocellular with upright cells and 2-4 seriate homocellular with prostrate and upright cells.
