Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels solitary and in short radial multiples, vessel diameter 20 - 50µ, vessels thick walled (2µ), parenchyma paratracheal and thin walled parenchyma between vessels, intra-annual tangential bands of fibers, few rays with 2-3 cells, crystal druses axial parenchyma and rays.
