Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, solitary vessels solitary or in groups, vessels only in the first part of the ring, vessels absent in the second part = intra-annual tangential bands of fibers, compact fibre ring,pervasive parenchyma, crystals absent. Similar to Sedum alpestre.
