Indistinct rings, vessels solitary and in radial multipels, vessel diameter 20 ¿ 30 mµ, simple perforation, minutely bordered fibers thin to (thick)-walled, parenchyma absent, with interxylary phloem. The zones of vascular bundles form ring like bands with some irregularities. Ray width 1-3 cells, ray cells thin walled and unlignified, rhaphides probably absent.
