Xylem

No secondary growth, rings absent, vessels in groups, vessel diameter >2mµ, fibers absent, small, simple perforations at radial vessel walls, intervascular pits round, pervasive parenchyma, rayless, sieve cell and vessel groups stay irregularly in the central cylinder (incuded phloem). Sieve cell and vessel groups do not form distinct vascular bundles. Crystals absent.
