Indistinct rings, big vessels (80 ¿ 150µm) vessels solitary, simple perforations, intervessel ray-pits mostly horizontal scalariform, intervessel pits reticulate fibers thick walled, parenchyma exist in two forms: thick walled lignified paratracheal and thin walled not lignified confluent, ray width >10 cells, vascular bundle-form remains, rays homocellular square and upright cells, with many crystal druses in ray cells, many ray cells with bowl-like dark substances

Phloem

Tangential layers of sieve cells and big, round, parenchyma cells in arcades, with indistinct ray dilatations, crystal druses and rhaphides in ray cells, bundles of rhaphides in idioblasts in pith, lactifers in cortex.
