Often indistinct rings, when ring porous distinct rings, often ring porous, often diffuse porous, , often >200 µm in diameter, vessels mostly solitary, late wood vessels often in radial rows, simple perforations, intervessel ray-pits mostly horizontal scalariform, intervessel-pits scalariform, frequently transitions between opposite and scalariform, fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma paratracheal, ray width 4-12 cells, sometimes with sheet-cells, homocellular, ray height >5 mm, with many prismatic crystals in ray cells, with rhaphides.

Phloem

Tangential layers of small sieve cells and big, round, parenchyma cells, rectangular groups of sclereids in tangential rows, with ray dilatations, prismatic crystals in lateral ray cells, bundle of rhaphides in inner ray cells.
