Xylem

Only one ring, in radial multiples and radial groups, rays sometimes absent, vessel diameter 30-50 µm, simple perforations, round inter-vessel pits, fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma not to recognize, ray width 2-4 cells with upright cells, crystal druses absent.

Phloem

With groups of sieve cells, indistinct tangential rows of sieve cell groups, radial rows of parenchyma cells, crystals absent.
