Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, in groups, vessel diameter 40-60 µm, simple perforations, round and scalariform intervessel pits, fibers in groups, mostly thick-walled, parenchyma pervasive in earlywood, rays very large, vascular bundle remaining, crystals absent.
