Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels solitary and in short radial multipels, vessel diameter 40-70 µm, simple perforations, round intervessel pits, fibers in groups, thick-walled, parenchyma pervasive in earlywood, paratracheal in latewood, rays very large, vascular bundle remaining, crystals druses in inter fascicular parenchyma.

Simple construction, tangential rows of sieve cells, groups of sclereids in the first phloem zone, with crystal druses.
