Distinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels solitary and in short radial multiples, simple perforations, earlywood vessel diameter 15 - 30µm, fibers thin to thick-walled, most fibers with nuclei, parenchyma absent or not to recognize, ray width 6-12 cells, with sheet cells, all ray cells square, crystals absent.

Phloem

Tangential layers of collapsed sieve cells, tangential bands of sclerenchymatic cells in the cortex on top of vascular bundles. Crystals absent.
