Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels in radial multiples and in groups, simple perforations, intervessel pits scalariform, earlywood vessel diameter 15 - 30µm, fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma absent or not to recognize, rays absent, (large rays are probably lateral shoots) crystals absent.
