Bulb. Rings indistinct, vessels in groups, vessel diameter <20 µm, vessels with simple perforations and small scalariform pits, fibers absent, parenchyma pervasive, few small vascular bundles in a parenchymatic tissue. Intervascular cambium but without secondary growth.
