Distinct rings in wedge-like radial vascular bundles, semi-ring porous, vessels in groups, earlywood vessel diameter 50-90µm, fibers with distinct big (3 µm)round, bordered pits, simple perforations, round intervascular pits, parenchyma paratracheal and marginal, vascular bundles rayless, very large rays (dilatation) between the bundles.

Phloem

Bands sieve elements alternating with parenchyma cells, tangentially arranged in a thin walled parenchymatic tissue. Many phellem bands.
