Indistinct rings, slightly semi-ring porous, vessels solitary, simple perforation, vessel diameter 20 - 50µm, fibers thick-walled, apotracheal parenchyma, uniseriate rays with prostrate cells.

Phloem

With tangential layers of collapsed sieve cells, no sclerenchymatic groups, distinct ray dilatations, groups of sclereids in cortex. Many prismatic crystals present.
