Air pollutants and climate change affect forest ecosystems world wide. With the Long-term Forest Ecosystem Research program LWF and the Sanasilva inventory, we are investigating effects on health status and processes. Forest condition and growth, water and nutrient cycle and biodiversity are the four focal points of our long-term research program.

Besides information on finances, staff and location the it contains a selection the previous year's highlights. With its handy 12 x 17 cm format it is a practical take-along an give-away.

Der Klimawandel und seine Auswirkungen stellen für die Schweiz eine zentrale Herausforderung dar. Das Projekt KLANG integriert Klimaschutz und -anpassung in die regionale Landschaftsplanung.

Artenporträts und Bestimmungsschlüssel. Das Buch enthält alle 120 Arten der beiden Mooszertifikate «Calliergonella» und «Bazzania», sodass sich das Buch auch als Vorbereitung für die Zertifikatsprüfungen eignet.

In der WebApp zeigen Klimaszenarien auf, wie sich das Klima im Durchschnitt entwickeln könnte. Doch der Durchschnitt bildet die Realität nur selten ab. Es sind die extremen Ereignisse – deutlich über oder unter diesem Durchschnitt – die unvorhersehbare und teils unumkehrbare Folgen für die Umwelt und Gesellschaft mit sich bringen.
