Professional interests:
Biotic, anthropogeneous and climatic influences induce macroscopical, microscopical and chemical changes and symptoms in plants (particularly trees). I would like to 'read' these symptoms for a sound interpretation of the nature, duration and force of the influencing factors in cells, tissues, organs, and trees.
Keywords describing my work:
Cross-breeding, plant hormones, plant sucking insects, plant waxes, immissions (SO2, O3, NO2), spider mites, fungus infections, nutrition, UV-B, CO2, different soil types, model ecosystems, lipids, phenols, acid rain, heavy metals, drought, heat.
