Aufgaben an der WSL

Als Medienbeauftragte setze ich mich dafür ein, dass unsere Forschung einer breiten Öffentlichkeit bekannt wird. Ich bin Ansprechpartnerin für Medienschaffende und unterstütze unsere Forschenden bei Medienanfragen und -auftritten. Ausserdem betreue ich die Newsredaktion, die Junior-Webseiten und Aktivitäten für Kinder.

Werdegang

Studium der Biologie an der Universität Basel und der Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Kanada. Studium des Wissenschaftsjournalismus an der University of California in Santa Cruz, Kalifornien. Wissenschaftsredaktorin beim Nachrichtenmagazin FACTS, später freischaffend in Indonesien und der Schweiz, danach Wissenschaftsredaktorin bei der Schweiz. Depeschenagentur sda. Seit 2015 an der WSL.

Privat

Baslerin mit deutschen Wurzeln. Am liebsten in Wanderschuhen oder auf Skiern in den Bergen unterwegs, bei Pferden oder an der Nähmaschine.
