Dr. Veruska Muccione

I am a scientist in the office of the Director at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research WSL. In my role I support the Directorate in strategic and operational tasks for WSL and the ETH Domain. I am the contact person at WSL for questions on data science/AI, open science and open research data. Alongside my role at the WSL, I am also a senior researcher and lecturer in the Department of Geography of the University of Zurich, Switzerland. From 2019 to 2023 I served as lead author in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Working Group II Sixth Assessment Report. My research interests are on complex climate risks, climate change adaptation and adaptation decision making.
