Scalariform perforation plates with generally 5 to 10 bars. Frequently fine spiral thickenings present. Rays generally heterogeneous, with one to two rows of square to slightly upright marginal cells, rarely homogeneous. Mainly libriform fibres, fibre-tracheids rare (difficult to differentiate). |
